let me introduce
short introduction
I am an artist and illustrator based in Rome.
I’ve always felt powerless in the world, like I didn’t know or do enough to make a real difference.
But then I realised that the first step to making things better starts with ourselves.
I asked myself what I wanted to achieve with my art, and I realised that I wanted to communicate to other human beings that change and improvement are at hand, even if they are not obvious because they are not big things. However small it may seem, it is real change.
Art has a unique power to communicate without words. As an illustrator, I strive to transcend language barriers and touch the hearts of viewers through visual storytelling. Each piece carries a part of my soul, expressing volumes in silence.
I find a sense of connection with the universe in the creative process, which nourishes my soul with every stroke of the brush.
My dream is to be an independent artist, with the freedom to work on my own projects. I am ready to make all the necessary sacrifices that are necessary to get there. I hope to live a simple yet meaningful life.
I plan to share my journey and hopefully inspire others through my actions, however small.
artistic knowledge
Self-taught in drawing and painting, years of practice have left me with a cultural baggage built up in layers following my artistic instinct.
After obtaining a diploma in computer accounting, I decided to approach an artistic career by attending the first year of the faculty of architecture at Roma3, a faculty that excited me but with which it was almost impossible to reconcile any work activity, prompting me to reluctantly leave it.
I finally decided to start deepening my technical knowledge by attending the Illustration and Basic Publishing course at the ‘Nicola Zabaglia’ school, part of the ‘scuola di arte e mestieri di Roma’, where I was able to learn graphic design, page layout and improve my knowledge of artistic composition.
artistic preferences
I prefer digital painting; I love manual techniques, especially watercolour; I am fascinated by the collage technique and I actually like everything, but I have to focus on something.
The Japanese world has a great influence on me, anime and manga, animated films. I am fascinated by surrealism and symbolism.
